This groundbreaking program features emcees Ed Kaahea and Iaukea Bright, local Hawaiian entertainers, and prominent figures in the Hawaiian sovereignty initiative hosting a dynamic forum on the history and future of Hawaiian self-governance. Aloha First calls it "an antidote to indifference".

Aloha First believes that "in order to achieve equitable solutions to economic and social concerns, we must remain steadfast in this common ground and build on consensus." This educast is a powerful step towards that goal.

"Our Kupuna (elders) have taught us to embrace and share the Spirit of Aloha" says Bumpy Kanahele. "Through self-determination and with dignity, the Hawaiian people are working to peacefully address historic and current injustices that perpetuate the desecration of our land and culture. This educast is an unprecedented opportunity for all Peoples of our community to participate in an event that will encourage reconciliation and resolution of Hawaiian issues in the Spirit of Aloha."
