   I received an e-mail message (attached) from Gavan Griffith early this morning who states "I would very much welcome the appointment" as one of three arbitrators in this proceeding. Mr. Griffith will be traveling to Washington, D.C. on April 5 and is available to stop over in Honolulu enroute, if need be, to meet with the parties.

   I received a second e-mail message (attached) early this morning (attached) whereby Mr. Griffith states "I maintain my interest in the appointment."
